+Those with tablets!

Journal Entry: Wed Oct 10, 2007, 9:08 PM
Yes!

I would like to know what type of tablet people have. I have been thinking of getting one for some time now but I'm always indecisive and it'll be awhile before I get a tablet, but I would still like to know what tablets people think are good/preffer/have.

Same with laptops if anyone has.
But mostly tablets.

Also, what good books has anyone read recently?

I've been playing Brain Age 2, fun, but I got addicted to the Virus Buster, which is an extra in Brain Age that's supposed to relax you, not hook you . . Ah well!

And now October is upon us! *Cheer* Decorations here are already being placed, what I don't like though is that even though some Halloween decorations were released in September, which is not a very big deal, Christmas decorations are being released since late August. Ugh.

Never keep your bladder waiting.

Depends... what are you looking for in a laptop? Like do you want it for gaming sometimes, or for art? Or both?

as for tablet, I have a really itsy bitsy one but it serves me well enough. I heard that the REALLY BIG ONES, although expensive, really rock.

Yay tablet~~ You should just go for a smaller one. Like the 4x6 Wacom that costs around $100, I used to have one of those and now I have a bigger one, but it's hard to tell the difference between them, they work pretty much the same. No sense in buying a really expensive one that does the same things as a cheaper one... Unless of course you win the lottery and then you can get a big and expensive one!

I don't know about laptops... I have one but I know nothing about them. :XD:

And yay for October! I got you some candy but I "accidentally" ate some of it so now I need to go and get more. :XD:; And I wanted to make you the DVDs of The Office to send with it too but I still need to figure out how to do that! Ack, so much to dooo ;;

I have a pretty small Wacom tablet. 8D I bought it on the cheap from a friend.

I would say, go for a smaller one.. It's not that hard to work with. Once you get used to it, it's pretty much the same as drawing on a big space. Regardless of how big your tablet is, it's still a LOT different than drawing on paper.

I have a Wacom which are really nice. It's a fairly decent size and the pressure sensitivity is probably my favorite thing in the world. xP As for laptops I dunno yet cause I don't have mine. Hopefully my laptop will be the one WITH the tablet thing on the screen or whatever HP is offering. x_O

That one site we looked at w/ all the tablets were pretty good I think. Plus, the prices were reasonable - especially since you're just starting out. :D

I would probably then say to save you money VERY VERY WELL

and buy a really good laptop that's like... 3,000+ from alienware.

TOTALLY DECK IT OUT

Cause I'm totally sucking eggs over here with my laptop. I bought it for almost 2K, and just thought i'd be ok cause of the price....

BOY AM I WRONG.

It totally sucks with FFXI. and with WoW. It lags SO BAD. the graphics card can't take it worth the life of it.

Really, research what kind of graphics card you want, processor, etc. Don't just take it cause of the price.

Also, Alienware... does REALLY good. You can totally customize it, and even better, since it's such great gamer technology put into those laptops, it's also great for heavy graphic programs... like photoshop and whatnot.

You're right about that, I draw on paper and it comes out pretty good but when I draw with the mouse, it's a fight over what I want and what it will give me. I once tried to draw on the a tablet that a friend of my dad's had lent to him but I couldn't get the hang of it because
a) I only had it for a week.
b) It only worked once the while it was here.
