Been a while

2 min read
It has indeed been months since I last wrote anything here. But I'm not going to completely abandon my account, there's too many cool people I would not like to lose contact with.

I will see if I can return soon, lately it's been one thing after another. Such is life!
But right now, I shall soon be getting married. Sounds like big news, I suppose!

It's a very simple, low-key civil wedding. Then after that, a small reception, and that is all. It's very silly to spend too much money on one day when the rest of the couples life together is more important. And I did not like the idea of falling into debt the day after the wedding. There are a lot of things I would have preffered, or chosen, or even wanted the most. BUT - money issues. If I could not pay for it without breaking my account, it's not worth doing so. The idea to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars all on one wedding day is too much, and I find it bit foolish. But those are my thoughts.

Since we, James and I, are paying for all of this ourselves, it's wiser for us to invest the majority of the money in an apartment as we do not expect things to be handed to us.

I could go on a whole rant about how warped peoples minds are over weddings! Not now, it's way early.

Well, I have been out of order for quite some time and still might be. My laptop has not, and probably will not, ever be repaired. Doomed to be dead. Which is quite sad.

The tiny laptop I have been allowed to use has its limits so I cannot be uploading or saving whatever I want like my old one, hopefully I can save my stuff from the old lappy, I'm not sure how.

Anywho, I do still update some art, right on my livejournal, currently uploading oldies! community.livejournal.com/imag…

And I have gotten into crafts! Which is cool, I always wanted to learn how to make stuff and I finally started it with.. basic sewing! Something like that is quite important to know just in case.

These are the rules!

1.) Write 10 things about yourself.
2.) When your done, choose 10 other victims' icons and post it in your journal!
3.) Go to your victims page and leave a message saying you tagged them!
4.) There are no tag backs folks!

10 things about myself

1. I have grown up with the Harry Potter series and still love it.
2. Always think too much to the point that my mind gets weary.
3. Have been trying to get into crafts! It's not easy.
4. Still have a long way to keep getting better at drawing, practice and practice.
5. I adore animals a ton.
6. Got scars! From surgeries.
7. I was never really able to keep a journal/diary, but I like to babble on LJ.
8. I love to read! But sometimes go onto another book when two more already have bookmarks.. bad habit.
9. I greedily yearn for A/C's.
10. Love to read comic books~!

Anyone can do it! Or everyone, or even you.

My poor laptop has been out of work for weeks now, it's currently being, hopefully, repaired but no luck yet. And it has become unbearably hot.

Goodness, it sure has been hot here.

I have been uploading some drawings, mostly doodles on my LJ art site. You can find them here and watch if you're interested. :D

Though I haven't seen Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince yet ( Since it hasn't even arrived here. ), I did go out to rent the game on the Wii. Why? I like to play the games and complain all about it. The first two games that I have for the PC are actually okay, considering they were based off the books.

So I started playing! As soon as possible since it was rented, and I wasn't going to dish out $50 for such a short game. Soon as I did, I already ran into a problem! Mainly since my sister's wii-nunchuk is a bit on the wonky side and needs a few good smacks every now and then. But after an entire day of going through more than half of the game, my arms were aching! Paaaaiiin. Making potions is fun on the Wii, you feel like you're actually doing it. But it tired my arms to get immediate responses in a limited time.

I do admit, it was good exercise for my arms. :'D Though they ached all through the night.

Gosh?

I am back from England! Well, I arrived on Saturday and I must say.. I was there for five months? It really doesn't seem like it at all. Time just dashed by me. I got to play in the snow for the first time, see it, touch it, but not taste it, no thanks. D:

I visited castles like Warwick Castle which was very nice and big but I enjoyed the kids part in it the most because I rode a zipwire and there were no kids around! :D. Amusement parks like Alton Towers though I felt ill that day but it was still great, and the same safari park four times. :P It always delights me to see animals. James and I went to see Coraline, which was just great. :)
We went to a big cinema at 9:30pm and had the theater all to ourselves! ( Well, almost, save for two other people but it was big! )

I watched things like Red Dwarf, Father Ted, The Young Ones, and The Peep Show. And have gotten stung by stinging nettles yet again, those things are not nice.

Of course it's common to have fish and chips there, there are hundreds or even probably thousands of fish and chips stores! People are crazy about that (Same goes for chinese and indian cuisine) , my selection was just chips with extra salt and vinegar, mmm that's niiiice. But I also tasted good indian food like a chicken tikka masala, oh that sounds so yummy right now. And as for chinese take-out, I would normally grab barbecue ribs in peking sauce with chips to dip in the sauce. Urggh, that's making me hungry.

But now I'm back on this island and was hit by such heat, I got used to the nice early summer breezes of England.

And I completely forgot, it's my birthday?
